Methanol fuel system has garnered widespread attention due to its advantages such as low greenhouse gas emissions, ease of management, safety and reliability, and minimal modification requirements for existing engines. Fully combusted methanol produces only carbon dioxide and water vapor. The combustion process generates almost no SOx and very low levels of NOx or particulate matter (PM).
The system primarily consists of a methanol supply module, heat exchange circulation system, valve assembly unit, nitrogen generation unit (achieving nitrogen purity up to 99.5%), and associated auxiliary systems. It is equipped with temperature sensors, pressure sensors, and combustible gas sensors, featuring leak containment and explosion-proof capabilities. The monitoring system provides round-the-clock real-time surveillance of system operations, ensuring personnel and equipment safety.
