Detailed introduction

        Everglory has experience in refitting/installing exhaust gas scrubbing and desulfurization devices on dozens of ships. Using the magnesium-seawater method, through multiple optimizations, a set of effective solutions has been sorted out for various ship types to help ship owners meet sulfur emissions Regulatory requirements for control and disposal of domestic sewage. According to the different conditions of each ship, formulate the most targeted and more reasonable design and installation plan, and formulate an on-board modification plan according to the actual situation of the ship to ensure the normal operation of the ship.



  • Magnesium-Sea Water Method

Introduction:

  1. "Magnesium-seawater method" is a ship exhaust gas desulfurization technology independently innovated by the research team of Weihai Puyi Ship Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. and Dalian Maritime University based on the mature land-based magnesium method desulfurization combined with seawater method.

Advantage:

  1. The "magnesium-seawater method" ship exhaust gas scrubbing and desulfurization device ensures that the SOx content in the desulfurized exhaust gas is lower than the exhaust gas index of burning fuel oil with a sulfur content of 0.1%m/m. After the exhaust gas is treated, all water quality indicators of the washing water meet the IMO regulations, meet the above technical indicators and meet the safe and stable operation of the whole machine. The first equipment in China to obtain CCS certification, Lloyd's Register of Shipping AIP certificate, French Bureau Veritas AIP certificate, emission compliance certificate, and factory approval certificate. At present, more than 50 sets of marine diesel engine desulfurization systems have been designed for actual ships.

  • Classification:

  1. The main ship exhaust gas desulfurization technologies are: Seawater method, alkaline method, CSNOx system, magnesium-based seawater method and hybrid system.

  • Installation On-board:

  1. In 2011, the first EGCS had been installed 10,000Nm3/h air volume exhaust gas desulfurization device on COSCO BINGHE; Acquired supports from Ministry of Industry and Information on the high technology research project of ship in 2012; Mastered the key technologies of high-efficiency &low-resistivity desulfurization technological process, high-efficiency production process of highly active desulfurization agent and harmless disposal of waste washing water, and passed the technical review of Ministry of Communications in June; Installed 50,000Nm3/h air volume exhaust gas desulfurization device on COSCO LINGYUNHE in 2014, the emission standards of SOx and washing water met the requirements of the International Conventions.
